Award Winning Care
For the second consecutive year, Greene County has voted Takoma Regional Hospital “Best Hospital” and “Best Place To Work,” among other categories.
Each year, the Greeneville Sun newspaper hosts a contest called “People’s Choice Awards” that feature 200 categories that describe Greene County’s “best.”
Takoma Regional and several of its employees won in multiple categories for the 2009-2010 contest. Takoma was voted best hospital and best place to work in Greene County, as well as “most community involved business” -- all for the second year in a row.
Other winners included Paula Galloway, best surgeon; Amy France, best nurse; Sam Thomas, best pharmacist; Craig Shelton, best physical therapist assistant; Joyce Lamb as best certified nursing assistant (also second year in a row); Tom VandenHoven as best accountant; and Valeria Evans, best secretary.
Come and see for yourself why your friends and neighbors have voted us as the No. 1 hospital for two years in a row!
